On behalf of our NPC chapters at Virginia , I am excited to welcome you to the Inter- Sorority Council at UVA ! With over 7members, the Inter- Sorority Council represents the largest community of women on Grounds. The Inter-Sorority Council (ISC) is the governing body of social sororities on the Grounds. The Inter-Fraternity Council works with the members of the Presidents’ Council in an effort to continue to strengthen the fraternity community at the University through progressive policies, programs and education.

The ISC focus is on women, service, and leadership. She went through recruitment last winter ( UVa has deferred rush). There are sororities , and the process lasts about days.

The Cost of Being in a Sorority? Chapters of the Inter-Sorority Council ISC strives to uphold the five pillars on which it stands: Sisterhood , Service , Scholarship , Support , and Student Leadership. A sorority creates a home away from home, in which sorority women support each other academically, emotionally, and through other avenues of UVA and post-graduation. Each chapter has its own personality, thus making it possible for a variety of women to find a place in sorority life. The Formal Recruitment begins in January.
