When I arrive the instructor went over the framework of the class and pointed out the differences from a classic barre class. It is the fastest, most effective, full body workout offered. You get to interact with clients as well as receive useful training that can be applied to other jobs. The owner is fair and is willing to go above and beyond! I’ve done several reviews of barre workouts, but I love the idea of an online platform because it gives you a lot of variety in terms of focus, level of intensity and length of time.


Barre workouts, in general, are a great method of strength training without a great deal of impact. Next came thigh toning and seat lifting, the isometric movements that I thought would be virtually impossible. I like to test things out before suggesting them to you. It helped me get toned up for my wedding and I have been going ever since! It’s especially good for muscle tone, definition and strengthening.

The smaller, repetitive movements with lighter weights will slim muscle groups leaving behind that long, lean look. Get the body of a dancer with this workout. The workout gives you the long lean look of a dancer through strength workouts followed by stretching. Each workout is approximately one hour long.


The 55-minute class is very fast paced and uses a small personal platform to increase range of movement. Now, I love ballet, dance, Tracy Anderson Method… basically anything that makes me feel like my legs are going to fall off. All opinions are unpaid and reflect our own personal experiences. From Sara: Full Disclosure: I am not a fitness person. Oh my gosh, it was such an amazing feeling that day when I just went for it and tried. It’s not surprising that these exercises can help to change the way your body is structure and if you stick with it and do them regularly you’ll end up building strength without killing yourself in the gym, and you’ll have that “dancer’s body” that gets talked about often. It’s like a ballet workout, right?


There’s a ballet barre and you don’t wear shoes. It seems pretty gentle, but I’ve heard it’s good. It can’t be too hard since I’m not entirely out of shape, right? I like workout classes and trying something new. I know friends who have done it and say it’s really great.


We were no longer walking everywhere, fast food was at every corner and with all the hustle and bustle of moving we quickly gained weight. This means that in addition to our staggering (but worth it) monthly gym memberships, we also justify discretionary spending at supplemental classes. My first class was a reminder of how out of shape I was. My muscles were shaking the entire class (I’ll explain that later). However, instead of leaving exhauste I left feeling incredibly energized.


They start fast and you work hard the whole way through, but then you’re done.
