Enjoying the small things blog

If I could sew, I’d make pretty yellow pillows and invite you to sit on them. Since I can’t, I stitch words and photos together and put them on this blog. for my newsletter to stay up-to-date with my latest. That sai there are a few trivial parenting regrets I carry.


My mom used to make it, and I associate it with all things.

Our Friday night started with a Favorite Things Party at my house. There is little I enjoy more than hosting a party, feeding people, and spending time with friends on the weekend. Photo taken by me Happy Sunday my dear readers! Everyday moments are truly what makes up the fabric of your lives and by appreciating the small things it will be a “priceless upgrade”. All big celebrations such as a new job or a new house are amazing in life and what you will probably focus on the most, but the small build-up is even more magical.

Here are a few things I have been working on. Little Miss woke up from her nap with a face full of snot. Sneezing and general grumpiness after sitting on my lap earlier. Just what we nee pre-flight cold germs just in time for incubation to a full blown cold for hours of flying!


We washe cleaned and sanitized ourselves when we got home! It was small -time, no television, 5people in the West Gym, college basketball, to which I held season tickets for my four years on campus. This new blog post window has been open for a couple of days. Sooooo many things I want to share here.


My goal this Christmas was to focus on the small things - the little things that make time with family so special.
