Ucsd degree audit

Degree Audits are a work in progress.

Department or college advisors perform a preliminary degree audit review. Check off completed and in-progress classes on the departmental degree requirements checklist. Note: Work-in-progress coursework needed for graduation. Periodically review your degree audit online to check on your academic progress.


Ensure that all your degree requirements will be met prior to your intended quarter of graduation. Use the information below to familiarize yourself with the system. They are also responsible for the oversight of external audit activities at UCSD and serve as the entry point for all external audit agencies. Upper-Division Unit Requirement.


To receive a Bachelor of Science from UC San Diego , all students must complete or more units of upper-division course work within the major.

How to access your degree audit? What does degree audit mean? The ‘Request an Audit’ page appears, listing your currently active degree programs. Click ‘Run Declared Programs’. The default audit is HTML, if you would like a PDF version, click on “Advanced Settings”, it will open a menu where you can change the fo rmat from HTML to PDF.


Your new audit is now ready to be reviewed. Achieve is the degree audit system for UC San Diego. Advisors can view an audit for a particular student or run audits for groups of students by using the batch option. A maximum of units of non-CSE courses, referred to as technical electives on the student’s degree audit.


Please see an approved list of technical electives. Notes for Selecting and Scheduling Classes for BA Computer Science. Students may petition for other courses not on the list. This is not done automatically until you request graduation so please request a review before then.


When pulling up your degree audit, select “ Submit Audit ” first, wait a few seconds, then select “ View Report “. Your college academic advisor can assist you in interpreting the college and university areas of your degree audit. Your major advisor can only assist you in interpreting the major related portion of your degree audit. On January 2 the Office of the Registrar, in partnership with IT Services, colleges, divisions, academic departments and programs, delivered an enhanced version of our 23-year-old degree audit to all undergraduate students.


This course may count towards the Learning, Visual, Graphics requirements for CSmajors. Your transcript is your official academic record and provides a chronological list of courses completed and other academic information.

Check submission deadlines and process with graduate coordinator. Only courses required for M. Proxy signatures are not acceptable. Additional restrictions are noted below. Any deviation from this list must be petitioned.


Courses listed below may not automatically move over on the degree audit. Each individual department manages their own courses, so contact the department for more course information. All major requirements must be taken for a letter grade (with the exception of CSE 9 19 19 and 199).


It will be the new degree audit reporting system for all levels.
